What is SVSV?

SVSV – St Vincent’s Sports Vision – is a project undertaken for the first time ever by ex students spanning all batches to give the school it’s most ambitious project ever. St. Vi9ncent’s is already known for its sports prowess at the state and national levels. The objective is to build sports facilities of international standards for students and combine this infrastructure with top class coaching, to propel St. Vincent’s students into the international sports arena.

Vincentian Architects, Civil Engineers and Professionals in the Sports field have come together to work on the plan, which includes practical/workable ideas which include football/hockey grounds, running track, courts for basketball/badminton/volleyball, ground locations for handball, high/long Jump, throwing (shot-put / javelin / discus), pole vault, softball


The plans also envisage a structure to maintain, manage and administer the infrastructure & putting in place professional coaches to train students in football, hockey, swimming, basketball, softball, athletics.


Phase 1 : To develop a world class synthetic track along with space allocated for throwing/jumping events.


Phase 2 : To develop the Fr.Oesch hall for multi-sport facilities - basket-ball, volleyball, badminton, with international quality surfaces and lighting.


Phase 3 : To ensure a coaching structure is put in place for the school to spot & develop talent.

All contributions are strictly by cheque / DD / online transfer only. To receive funds being donated for this project the school has dedicated two separate Bank accounts. One for donations in Indian Rupees and another for donations in Foreign Exchange. The details of the two accounts are given below.
